How to buy ETH?

ETH is the native asset of the Ethereum network. Before purchasing, you need to distinguish between spot, contract, and the specific network used for transfer.

1. Distinguish between ETH spot and ETH contracts

ETH spot purchase and ETH perpetual contract trading are different products. The spot usually corresponds to the ETH asset balance in the account; the perpetual contract involves margin, funding fees and liquidation rules. The real-time chart on this site uses the ETHUSDT perpetual contract market, which cannot be used as a guaranteed transaction price for spot orders.

2. Check platform and account

First verify whether the platform provides relevant services, identity verification requirements and payment methods to your region. Access services through official channels, using strong passwords and two-step verification. Do not give verification codes or wallet mnemonics to anyone claiming to be able to buy, keep or recover funds on your behalf.

3. Check trading pairs and orders

Select the ETH spot trading pair that meets your purpose, and check the pricing currency, quantity, order type and fee. The average transaction price of market orders will be affected by liquidity; limit orders will only be executed when the conditions are met. The USDT in the price column should not be directly understood as the USD balance in the bank account.

4. Pay special attention to transfer networks

The platform may provide multiple ETH deposit or withdrawal networks. The sender and receiver must support the same network; similar address formats do not mean the same network. On-chain transactions usually involve network fees. Check the network name, target address, amount and platform prompts before submitting.

Risks and scope of this site

ETH prices may fluctuate significantly; trading platforms, wallet custody, and on-chain transfers all have risks. This article only explains basic concepts and does not constitute personal investment advice. Btc Vs U does not provide asset custody, deposit service or transaction matching services.
